Exporters shipping seafood from Puntland to domestic or international markets require an MOFMR export licence and must comply with catch documentation, health certificates, and traceability rules.
Eligibility
Registered business with export track record or binding buyer contract; cold chain or processing partner where required; tax and port clearance in good standing.
Requirements
- Apply for exporter licence with company profile
- Submit sample export contract or buyer letter
- Demonstrate cold chain or processing compliance
- Health and quality inspection of facility (if processing on site)
- Pay exporter licence fee
- Receive export authorization certificate
